In May 2000, she graduated with a Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing and received a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in May. Although her focus and training is in family medicine, her passion is in women’s health though the life span and the ever-increasing obesity epidemic.

As a family nurse practitioner, she has had advanced and formal training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of common and chronic illnesses throughout the life span. Her approach has a holistic and wellness orientation with an emphasis on health education, risk identification, and reduction along with preventative care. She has lived in California all her life and currently enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her three grandchildren.
